The new Nurse Support Program (NSP) is one of the ways the program can be revitalized. NSP is a notion proposed by Governor Robert L. Ehrlich, Jr. The bill (SB 230/HB 322) received significant support from Maryland's nurse educators (American Association of Colleges of Nursing -- State Legislative Initiatives to Address the Nursing Shortage).
